Job Title: QA Analyst Job Description The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and functionality of reporting dashboards, data visualizations, and performance metrics used by clients and internal stakeholders. This role serves as the primary quality checkpoint for analytics and automated reporting deliverables, validating dashboard functionality, testing data integrations, verifying calculations, and identifying data inconsistencies before reports are released. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with a detail-oriented testing mindset and has experience working with marketing data, business intelligence platforms, and reporting solutions. This role will coordinate with business clients, internal program managers, and the offshore reporting team.Dashboard Testing & Validation Perform comprehensive testing of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions prior to deployment. Validate dashboard functionality, filters, drill-through capabilities, date controls, and user interactions. Ensure visualizations display accurate and consistent data across all reports. Conduct regression testing following dashboard enhancements, bug fixes, or platform updates. Document and track defects through resolution. Data & Calculation Quality Assurance Verify the accuracy of marketing KPIs and calculations. Reconcile dashboard metrics against source systems (CRM systems, and data warehouses). Validate business logic, calculated fields, and data transformation processes. Identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues. Process Improvement Develop and maintain QA documentation, testing procedures, and validation checklists. Create repeatable testing methodologies to improve reporting quality and efficiency. Recommend improvements to dashboard design, data governance, and reporting processes. Support the implementation of quality standards for analytics and reporting deliverables. Collaboration & Communication Partner with Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Account teams to understand reporting requirements. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and data quality considerations. Clearly document findings and communicate issues, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and release validation. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Validation. Experience testing dashboards, reports, or data-driven applications. Strong understanding of automotive data and automotive program performance measurement. Experience working with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Domo, Qlik Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data validation techniques. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in large datasets. Excellent communication skills; willingness to coordinate and communicate with offshore resources. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques. Experience testing APIs, ETL processes, or data pipelines. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud analytics platforms. Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Asana. Identify and resolve data discrepancies before stakeholder delivery. Reduce reporting defects and post-release issues. Improve testing efficiency through standardized QA processes and documentation. Ensure marketing performance metrics are trustworthy, consistent, and actionable for decision-making. The base salary range for this position is $75k- $95k, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
