Job Function: Sales Enablement Job Sub Function: Customer Success Management Job Category: Business Enablement/Support All Job Posting Locations: Mexico City, Mexico Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Contract Management Specialist, this Hybrid position will be located in Mexico City, Mexico. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. Job Description: The Contract Management Specialist is responsible for the operational execution and administration of public and private contracting processes, ensuring accurate documentation, contract compliance, system maintenance, and timely support to commercial and distributor activities. The role supports the end-to-end contract lifecycle by coordinating tender and contract documentation, managing contract records, maintaining data integrity in business systems, supporting distributor requirements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Working closely with the Bids & Tenders Specialist, Commercial teams, distributors, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal, this position plays a key role in ensuring efficient contract execution and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Contract & Tender Operations Execute and administer public and private contracting activities throughout the contract lifecycle, including contract creation, renewals, amendments, execution, and closure. Coordinate distributor requests related to tenders, quotations, contract awards, and other procurement events, ensuring timely completion of requirements and deliverables. Prepare, collect, validate, and maintain technical, commercial, legal, and administrative documentation required for tender participation and contract formalization. Monitor key milestones, submission deadlines, contractual obligations, and renewal activities to ensure timely execution and compliance. Systems & Data Management Create, update, and maintain contracts, pricing agreements, and related records in SAP and other company systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity. Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools to support contract management, tender activities, purchase orders, and business requests. Identify and resolve data quality issues while providing operational reporting and analytical support to commercial and contracting teams. Compliance & Process Support Ensure contracting and tender activities comply with company policies, HCC requirements, document retention standards, and applicable public procurement regulations. Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and other functional areas to obtain and maintain product registrations, certifications, approvals, and supporting documentation required for contracting activities. Support internal and external audits by ensuring complete, accurate, and accessible documentation. Stakeholder & Distributor Management Serve as the primary operational contact for distributors and internal stakeholders regarding contracting, tender documentation, and process requirements. Coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Legal to obtain required documentation, approvals, and issue resolution. Support training, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives related to contract and tender processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration, bids and tenders, commercial operations, procurement, or government contracting. Experience supporting public procurement processes and working with distributors in Mexico. Knowledge of public procurement regulations (LAASSP) and contract documentation requirements. Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems. Intermediate to Advanced English. Intermediate English. Preferred Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical industries.
