Job Description SummaryAs this role, you will be part of the GE Healthcare (GEHC) China Compliance team, which holds the responsibility for local Ombuds investigations and the compliance monitoring program. Primarily focused on investigations, this role ensures compliance concerns are addressed promptly and risks are mitigated effectively. Additionally, the role supports regular compliance monitoring activities to proactively identify and manage emerging risks. Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities • Independently conduct prompt and thorough investigations into Ombuds cases regarding alleged violations of GE HealthCare policy or relevant laws/regulations in China: - Collect and analyze the evidence, including documentation, system records, electronic data, publicly available information, etc. - Conduct interviews with witnesses, subject matter experts, and implicated persons. - Create well-documented investigation reports with root cause analysis, clear and precise conclusions and proposed corrective actions. - Report investigation findings and proposed corrective actions to various stakeholders, including GE HealthCare senior leadership, to seek alignment. - Closely monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions. • Continuously monitor current and emerging risks within the subject areas, especially commercial transaction-related risks and Improper Payment-related risks: - Utilize company data and system resources to develop monitoring/audit plans for compliance-related issues. - Produce clear, concise, relevant, and timely monitoring/audit reports. - Keep track of monitoring activity planning, scoping, work performed, key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. • As needed, work in partnership with the Global Litigation & Investigations team on privileged investigations. • As needed, support building digital compliance solutions to drive proactive compliance engagement or facilitate investigation and monitoring execution. • Support other ad hoc tasks as needed. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in compliance, law, internal audit, or controllership in a global business environment, including a minimum of 3 years of investigations experience in one or more of the following areas: bribery/corruption/other improper payments, conflicts of interest, intellectual property loss, falsified documents/manipulated financial records, procurement fraud and potential violation of competition laws. • Prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously and drive projects to conclusion. Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments despite pressure. • Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluent in Mandarin and English. • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and data processing skills, with proven ability to clearly and concisely prepare, present, analyze, and discuss complex investigations and findings/recommendations at a senior level and produce a clear and compelling report. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables). Strong data processing capabilities. • Process and detail-oriented; strong organizational skills. Demonstrated project leadership skills. • Proven analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills. • Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and respectful manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality and inspire trust.
