Summary of Position: Responsible for the development and maintenance of data systems and infrastructure to enable efficient data processing, storage, and analysis. Responsibilities include designing and building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, optimizing data workflows, implementing data security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for development and maintenance of ETL pipelines that bring new data into the data lake Responsible for monitoring health of the data infrastructure pipelines and auditing processes to ensure high data quality Responsibilities may include developing dashboards and automation products to improve process efficiencies Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 4 to 6 years of experience. Data Engineering (ETL) Data Governance & Metadata management BI Dashboards (Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI, etc.) Data Integrity High proficiency in SQL Preferred: Experience in Alteryx, AWS Stack (Athena, Quicksight, S3) Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST Relocation assistance: Yes Employment Scams: Alcon is aware of employment scams which make false use of our company name or leader’s names to defraud job seekers.
