A Day in the LifeAs a Production Operator in the Lamps Department, you will support the manufacturing of infrared (IR) sources used in medical technologies. This role combines hands-on production activities with technical support responsibilities across manufacturing, maintenance, testing, and operational processes. Working in a highly specialized production environment, you will perform precision glass manufacturing operations while supporting mechanical and vacuum systems that are critical to product quality and performance. The position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and a commitment to maintaining consistent manufacturing standards. This is an on-site role based in Jerusalem, Israel. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Manufacture glass envelopes used in IR source production according to established procedures and quality standards. Provide technical support within the Lamps Department across production, maintenance, and operational activities. Perform a variety of duties in mechanical, vacuum, and testing environments. Troubleshoot, adjust, test, and maintain vacuum equipment and related components, devices, and systems. Execute testing and troubleshooting activities using diagrams, technical documentation, verbal instructions, and defined work plans. Support routine production operations while ensuring compliance with manufacturing requirements and safety procedures. Document and communicate technical information that requires explanation or interpretation to relevant stakeholders. Perform precision manual operations while maintaining product quality and process consistency. Required Knowledge and Experience: Technical school diploma. 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. Ability to perform precision manual work and delicate assembly or manufacturing operations. Ability to follow established systems, techniques, procedures, technical documentation, and work instructions. Basic technical English proficiency.
