Role Overview Are you passionate about leading a team of talented engineers to create innovative solutions? Our company is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to provide technical leadership and drive the next generation of automation capabilities. Leading the teams in Full Stack and Gen AI development. What will you do in this role: Provide technical leadership to teams through guidance and mentorship. Help create solutions that apply the defined standard of engineering to deliver state-of-the-art automation. Provide direction for the team and empower innovation to drive the next generation of automation capabilities. Collaborate with others in driving delivery of automations, applications, and reusability within the organization. Foster engagement, retention, and employee growth within the team. Work with Tech Leads to provide thought leadership, oversight, and direction for the technical solution design. Ensure maximization of reuse by assessing all development for reusability. Ensure engineers maintain compliance with coding standards and quality expectations. Provide thought leadership in test-driven development and quality assurance approaches. Lead a team of Full Stack engineers. Inspire the team and maintain a high level of engagement. Manage employees, ensuring a collaborative and effective working environment. Collaborate with Tech Leads, scrum masters, Business Analysts to drive correct technical solutions and leadership. What should you have: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science. At least 8 years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility beginning with code-level engineer roles and culminating in a supervisor position. 5+ years of track record in delivering effective engineering solutions in a complex, international company with experience in leading team. Experience with technical oversight of a team of at least 5 engineers. Extensive use of agile product development methodologies and DevOps tools. Primary skills (must-have) Proficient in full stack (C#, Java, Python, React), SQL, CI/CD tools and practices, APIs, data and Cloud. Support deployment and operationalization of solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Understands and engaged in cloud computing, infrastructure as code, cloud-native principles & microservices design. Problem solver able to map the best technology available to the business needs in an elegant comprehensive solution design. Effective communicator able to gain alignment, ensure clarity, and explain complex principles. Proficient manager of engineering squads. Capable technical mentor and career guide. Secondary skills (nice to have) Experience leveraging the AI tools like Copilot, Claude etc. for development. Experience in building Gen AI, Agentic AI solutions.
