Must have skills : SUSE Linux Administration Good to have skills : Microsoft Azure IaaS Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance. The position demands continuous engagement with system environments to ensure seamless operation and timely resolution of any disruptions that may impact business functions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency. - Document troubleshooting processes and share knowledge to support team growth. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for system support. - Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SUSE Linux Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service. - Strong understanding of Linux system architecture and command-line tools. - Experience in monitoring and maintaining server health and performance. - Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis. - Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
