Must have skills : Network Security Implementation Good to have skills : Network Security Operations Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong implementation expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and Prisma Access, with the ability to work in complex enterprise environments involving multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and global network infrastructures. The candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong understanding of network security architecture, and experience implementing security solutions while ensuring minimal business impact. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions. Configure and manage Panorama for centralized firewall administration, policy management, software upgrades, and template/device group management. Implement and support Prisma Access including Mobile Users, Remote Networks, Service Connections, and Cloud Identity Integration. Plan and execute firewall migrations from legacy vendors (Cisco ASA, Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.) to Palo Alto. Perform firewall policy implementation, NAT configuration, security profiles, URL filtering, application control, and SSL decryption. Configure and troubleshoot: o Security Policies o NAT Policies o Policy-Based Forwarding (PBF) o Virtual Routers o Zones o Interfaces o HA (Active/Passive and Active/Active) Implement and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, GlobalProtect VPN, and site-to-site VPN connectivity. Manage security subscriptions including Threat Prevention, WildFire, DNS Security, URL Filtering, and Anti-Spyware. Perform firewall software upgrades, content updates, and health checks. Analyze traffic using logs, packet captures, Traffic Monitor, ACC, and CLI troubleshooting commands. Work closely with application, cloud, network, and security teams during implementation activities. Participate in change management, implementation planning, and post-implementation validation. Prepare implementation plans, rollback procedures, and technical documentation. Support major incident resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to lead implementation bridges and coordinate with multiple technical teams. Customer-focused with strong stakeholder management. Ability to work independently in high-pressure production environments. Excellent documentation and presentation skills. Experience mentoring junior engineers and reviewing implementation plans. Preferred Certifications Palo Alto PCNSA Palo Alto PCNSE (Preferred) Prisma Access Specialist (Preferred) CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security ITIL Foundation Preferred Experience 5–10 years of network security experience. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW. Experience with Panorama administration in large enterprise environments. Experience implementing Prisma Access for remote users and branch connectivity. Experience working in complex global environments supporting multiple business units, data centers, and cloud platforms.
