The Team Our payroll team looks after the payroll needs of all Cisco countries across our EMEA region. We manage or directly run the accurate and timely payments for over 13,000 employees in over 60 countries. This gives professionals in the team a chance to gain significant exposure to the payroll practices in many different countries, through both end-to-end and vendor management models. What You'll Do You will be responsible for end-to-end payroll process for UK & Ireland in an in-house model, and managing a local vendor for MEA countries. For specific countries you would be assigned to, you will be responsible for: Ensuring compliance and providing expert support to employees regarding payroll queries. Executing all payroll-related payments to employees, tax authorities, and social security offices. Processing payroll journal entries into the general ledger and preparing monthly wage tax returns. Serve as the primary point of contact for HR and Finance business partners, performing financial analysis to assess the impact of legislative changes on social security, benefits, and taxes. Skills & Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of multi-country payroll experience. Advanced Excel proficiency, including data manipulation and report generation. Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proven ability to perform data entry and validation with high accuracy and discipline. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to adapt to change, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Desired Experience in a multinational remuneration environment. Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management and partnering with HR and Finance. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to meet challenging deadlines and balance multiple priorities under pressure. Advantageous Experience with ADP GV (SAP payroll). Recognized professional payroll qualifications relevant to the region. Demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership in taking on new challenges.
