Job Function: Human Resources Job Sub Function: HR Operations Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Director, Service Delivery & Digital Solutions. Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes. This is a unique, leadership opportunity to play a critical role in standing up HR Service Delivery and Digital Solutions capabilities for a newly independent organization. This role will drive the separation of HR systems, processes, and operational frameworks from Johnson & Johnson, while building scalable, best-in-class HR capabilities for DePuy Synthes. The position offers high visibility, cross-functional impact, and the opportunity to shape the future HR operating model during a significant business transformation. After separation, this leader will be accountable for the day-to-day service delivery of HR Operations for Depuy Synthes, including Total Rewards Operations, Talent Operations, Data Management and Digital Solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end HR knowledge transfer activities, including transition, and stand-up of new operational capabilities Influence HR Digital Solutions separation, including system carve-out approach, and stabilization of core HR platforms and interdependent systems (e.g., HRIS, case management, employee data systems, AskGS, Contact Center to ensure service continuity on Day 1. Manage relevant Transition Service Agreements (TSAs), ensuring continuity of services while driving timely exit and capability build within DePuy Synthes Partner with HR, IT, Legal, Finance, Global Services and external vendors to ensure alignment on separation strategy and execution Lead implementation of designed standardized HR processes, policies, and workflows to support a standalone organization. Drive identification of optimization opportunities to be assessed, designed, prioritized, and implemented post separation. Drive change management and stakeholder communication strategies to support adoption of new systems and new ways of working that result from DePuy Synthes operating model and organization design. Monitor performance metrics, service levels, and operational KPIs to ensure effective and efficient HR service delivery Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure knowledge transfer success Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams and external partners to ensure knowledge transfer approach is effective Play a leadership role in various hypercare cycles to ensure systems and processes operate as planned and surfaced issues are prioritized based on business impact and resolved in a timely manner. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field) Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in HR or related discipline) preferred Experience and Skills: 10+ years in HR operations, HR service delivery, or HR transformation programs 5+ years in leadership roles (leading programs, teams, or large initiatives) Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation, separation, or carve-out initiatives Strong program and project management expertise, including managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives Experience with HR systems implementation or separation (e.g., HRIS, case management, employee lifecycle tools) Deep understanding of HR operational processes such as hiring, employee data management, and offboarding Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders across business and technical teams Preferred: Experience with Transition Service Agreements (TSA) management in M&A, spin-off, org design and build of HR shared services Background in HR Digital or HR Technology transformations Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization Familiarity with process design, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies Experience working in healthcare, MedTech, or similarly regulated industries Strong change management experience supporting large organizational transformations Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Other: Language: English required; additional languages a plus Travel: Limited; up to 25% (domestic and/or international, depending on project needs) Why This Role This role offers the rare opportunity to build HR capabilities from the ground up in a newly standalone organization.
