In this vital role the Executive Director, US Brand Lead for ABP 206 & ABP 234 is accountable for leading the US commercial market readiness strategy for two of Amgen's highest priority oncology biosimilars assets. This leader serves as the single-point commercial owner responsible for building a team and designing and delivering an integrated commercial strategy that prepares the organization for successful market entry while positioning both brands for long-term growth and sustained market leadership. Success in this role requires a seasoned commercial executive preferably with deep expertise in oncology, biosimilar commercialization, market readiness planning, market shaping, and enterprise leadership. Working across a highly matrixed organization, the Executive Director will align Global and US teams around a common vision, establish governance and execution discipline, and ensure every commercial function is prepared to deliver exceptional customer and patient outcomes upon regulatory approval. As a member of the Oncology Business Unit Senior Leadership Team (OBU SLT), this leader will help shape the broader US Oncology commercial strategy, organizational culture, operating model, and long-term growth agenda while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on biosimilar strategy and commercialization. Key Responsibilities include: US Commercial Market Readiness Strategy Own the comprehensive US commercial market readiness strategy for ABP 206 and ABP 234, ensuring the organization is prepared for successful market entry. Define the commercial ambition, strategic priorities, success metrics, and critical milestones across both assets Lead integrated market readiness planning across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, Digital, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs, Operations, and other key functions Establish governance, decision-making processes, execution discipline, and accountability across a highly matrixed organization Lead commercial scenario planning and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies across regulatory, competitive, access, reimbursement, contracting, and supply considerations Commercial Strategy & Market Leadership Define the US commercial opportunity by identifying target patient populations, treatment settings, customer segments, and key decision-makers Serve as Amgen's commercial authority on the evolving biosimilar marketplace, competitive dynamics, customer behaviors, treatment pathways, and market trends Identify unmet customer needs, barriers to adoption, and market opportunities that inform differentiated commercial strategies and accelerate market readiness Translate complex market insights into clear commercial priorities that position both assets for long-term success Brand Strategy, Positioning & Market Shaping Lead development of differentiated US brand strategies, positioning, value propositions, and long-term growth narratives for both assets Partner closely with the Biosimilar Business Unit to shape worldwide strategy while ensuring execution reflects the unique needs of the US oncology marketplace Develop compelling, evidence-based messaging that resonates across healthcare providers, health systems, payers, patients, and internal stakeholders Lead market-shaping initiatives that prepare customers and stakeholders for the introduction of both assets while supporting appropriate adoption and access Commercial Planning & Business Leadership Lead integrated commercial planning across both brands, including strategic planning, investment prioritization, forecasting assumptions, resource allocation, and performance objectives Drive execution through disciplined milestone management, executive reporting, and cross-functional performance reviews Monitor market dynamics and adjust commercial strategies to respond to changing customer needs, competitive actions, reimbursement environments, and regulatory developments Partner with Finance and Commercial Operations to support forecasting, business planning, and resource optimization Cross-Functional Leadership & Enterprise Collaboration Lead a highly integrated cross-functional team spanning Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Value & Evidence, Digital, Corporate Affairs, Patient Support, Operations, and Global Commercial Build strong partnerships across the enterprise to ensure alignment, rapid decision-making, and execution excellence Influence enterprise priorities while representing the commercial perspective across governance forums and senior leadership discussions Ensure strong integration between Global and US teams, providing meaningful US market input to global commercialization strategies Field Readiness & Market Access Ensure the Field organization is commercially prepared with effective strategies, training, tools, messaging, and customer engagement resources Partner with Market Access to develop pricing, reimbursement, contracting, and access strategies that support successful commercialization Oversee development of patient support programs and customer solutions that improve access and enable positive customer experiences External Engagement & Market Influence Represent Amgen as a senior commercial leader with key external stakeholders, including professional societies, customer advisory boards, strategic partners, and other influential organizations Monitor the external healthcare environment to anticipate emerging trends, competitive threats, and evolving customer expectations Help shape the commercial narrative for Amgen's oncology biosimilar portfolio through strategic external engagement People, Culture & Leadership Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing commercial organization focused on collaboration, accountability, inclusion, innovation, and execution excellence Coach and develop future commercial leaders while fostering an environment of continuous learning and talent development Serve as a visible enterprise leader across the Oncology Business Unit, reinforcing a culture centered on patients, performance, and collaboration Partner with the OBU General Manager, OBU Senior Leadership Team, and peer Brand Leads to strengthen organizational effectiveness and deliver outstanding business results What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.
