Position Summary Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Operations Director, the Commercial Excellence Director – Brazil is responsible for leading the Commercial Excellence strategy and execution across the Brazil market. This role partners closely with Business Unit leaders and cross-functional teams to accelerate commercial performance through sales force effectiveness, business insights, capabilities development, governance, and digital capabilities. As a strategic business partner, the Commercial Excellence Director drives operational excellence by leveraging analytics, technology, and innovative commercial models to enable data-driven decision-making, improve customer experience, simplify processes and deliver sustainable business growth. These responsibilities include some of the following: Key Responsibilities Lead the Commercial Excellence strategy for Brazil, aligning commercial strategic priorities towards seamless execution to accelerate business objectives achievement. Drive customer facing structures effectiveness through customer segmentation, targeting, territory design, incentive governance, performance management, and continuous optimization of field execution. Provide strategic business insights and advanced analytics to support business planning, forecasting, performance management, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. Partner with Business Unit, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Finance, and Digital teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize commercial execution, and deliver sustainable business results. Lead the continuous improvement of commercial processes, governance, and operational excellence while ensuring alignment with regional and global standards, compliance, and best practices. Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing Commercial Excellence team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Why You? We are looking for candidates who want to grow and make an impact: Basic Qualification Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline. Significant experience in Commercial Excellence, Sales Operations, Business Insights, Sales Leadership, Marketing, or Commercial Strategy within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Proven track record of driving commercial performance through sales force effectiveness, analytics, omnichannel engagement, and digital capabilities. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives in highly matrixed local, regional, and global organizations. Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen, including business planning, forecasting, KPI management, and performance analytics. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders. Fluent in Portuguese and English. Preferred Qualification MBA or other advanced business or scientific degree. Experience leading Commercial Excellence transformation initiatives, including omnichannel, CRM, digital enablement, and advanced analytics. Strong knowledge of sales force effectiveness methodologies, commercial analytics, business intelligence tools, and customer engagement platforms. Demonstrated success influencing regional and global stakeholders in complex matrix organizations. Executive presence with the ability to translate strategy into execution while driving organizational change and continuous improvement. This role offers a flexible location within Brazil, with the successful candidate able to be based in either Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo.
