Job Description: Summary / purpose of the position Support marketing activities for Therapeutical Areas. Achieve sales objectives and profitability on assigned products by implementing promotional plans within agreed budget and develop product strategies. Ensure execution excellence of the brand plan for the country and translate key customer insights into effective promotional campaigns that drive short and long-term product growth and meet/exceed the brand’s annual forecast projections within the framework of the global and local product strategy. Build high quality KOL management together with the BUD. Drive sales & marketing interface for excellence in implementation. Develop analytical tools to track sales, uncover opportunities, plan and measure activities All fully compliant with Ipsen’s Ethics & Compliance standards Execute the TA strategy and operational plan • Execute the marketing operational plan and individual tactical initiatives to deliver brand financials and objectives • Run successful Brand Team meetings providing vision, direction and follow up as all agreed • Produce promotional materials, educational materials, messages and other tactical initiatives within the marketing operational plan such as customer educational and promotional meetings • Engage with the field force in the development and implementation of tactical initiatives within the operational plan at territory level • Partner or align with Medical Affairs and Market Access on planning, materials, and activities. • Engage with customers in the development and execution of tactical initiatives within the operational plan and Account Management Plans • Develop clear written and verbal briefs for communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors • Contribute to the development of the strategic and operational plan in collaboration with the Commercial Lead and other cross functional members of the Brand Team. 1 yr and 5 yr view. • In consultation with the BUD and General Manager, ensure alignment of local brand strategy and tactics to Global Franchise strategy wherever possible • Ensure strong connections and contribution as required from global counterparts and leads Develop and leverage deep market and competitive insights: • Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, and competitive response to provide input into the strategic plan which addresses key challenges and capitalizes on prioritized business opportunities • Identify product and market insights and leverage in medico-marketing and sales activities • Understand drivers and barriers for brand usage and provide these insights for strategic planning purposes Forecasting and financial management • Appropriately manage relevant projects’ commercial spend to drive brand performance • Monitor sales performance and propose corrective actions when needed • Contribute to the development of annual and 5-year sales, supply and expense forecasts • Provide appropriate marketing direction to the field force in consultation with the Commercial Head, and support the field force to ensure excellence in account plan implementation • Drive marketing engagement with Thought Leaders in line with key account plans • Work in a cross functional capacity with Market Access team and Business Unit Director to develop and identify opportunities for growth and ensure quick response and compliant approach to drive the business • Work closely with Finance and Supply chain to ensure minimization of supply concerns and a heightened Knowledge, abilities & experience Education / Certifications: • Business/Marketing or other Science related studies (preferred at post graduate level) • Broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry including suppliers, customers, and competitors Experience: • 3-5 years+ marketing experience • Proven track record of working with pharmaceutical highly specialized products preferably in oncology and hematology • Demonstrated experience in the ability to successfully execute operational and/or launch plans • Proven ability to communicate, engage and influence specialists within the healthcare industry • Demonstrated business acumen in assessing complex issues and the ability to determine clear strategies and action plans • Demonstrated excellent communication, selling, influencing, and negotiation skills • Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently within a cross-functional team under time pressure • Proven ability to own and participate in projects with a strong focus on timely, high quality and compliant deliverables • Clear, logical and concise communication abilities to assist with formal group presentations and written communications • Financial acumen to manage significant brand marketing expenditure Preferred: • Has established relationships and/or working knowledge of the Medical Community preferably within oncology and hematology • Experience in developing strategic and operational plans Fluent English and Polish language Candidate needs to be based in Warsaw #LI-LN1 We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”.
