A Day in the LifeApprentice will play a critical role in achieving implants by providing case support in cath labs and providing patient services like device checks and device programming. Apprentice can expect to gain broad knowledge of Medtronic's therapies, products and application functions and a detailed understanding of the role these functions play in meeting company objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Apprentice will go through intensive technical training on our therapies and products. Apprentice will be responsible for demonstrating proficiency in product and therapy knowledge. Apprentice will receive orientation on cath lab setting and OPDs. Apprentice will be responsible for product implant support, product programming, and patient follow ups. Supporting implants and conducting patient follow ups. (Minimum of 6 activities per day, collecting data on competitive product usage and types of surgeries performed) Timely reporting of weekly reports and trackers. Take initiative and be a self-starter. Develops knowledge of industry and organizational processes. OFFICE SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical) for other members within the organization. The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS Autonomy: Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Works on well-defined administrative and clerical tasks. Work is routine or follows standard procedures and is closely supervised. Organizational Impact: Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with some impact on achievement of results for the job area, including limited disruption or expense. Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Innovation and Complexity: Provides data and information when minor changes may be required based on review. Problems faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed. Communication and Influence: Communicates with contacts typically within immediate job area. Obtains and provides information requiring little explanation or interpretation. Required Knowledge and Experience: B Pharma / Biomedical Engineering students (2025 or 2026 pass out) Should not hold PF account, No back logs.
