Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing Advanced Packaging Test Tester Front Office is seeking a Tester Quality and Reliability Engineer Contract Employee to support factory quality, manufacturing execution, customer delivery, and operational scalability across Intel's global tester ecosystem. As a Tester Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining quality discipline across manufacturing, supply chain, and contract manufacturing operations. You will partner closely with Factory Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Technology Development, Quality, and Contract Manufacturing teams to identify risks, improve business processes, ensure material readiness, and support factory execution. This role directly contributes to customer delivery performance, operational excellence, quality system compliance, and business growth while enabling senior subject matter experts to focus on advanced automation deployment, business transformation, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Quality and Reliability Management Develop, maintain, and improve quality management systems, process controls, and operational governance practices. Support quality reviews, corrective action processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform risk assessments, failure analysis, material disposition, and root cause investigations. Drive closure of quality issues impacting factory execution, product delivery, and customer satisfaction. Supplier and Material Quality Partner with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure material quality and supply continuity. Support supplier quality evaluations, capability assessments, and risk mitigation activities. Review and disposition questionable materials while balancing business requirements and quality objectives. Track supplier performance metrics and drive corrective actions as required. Factory Operations and Execution Support yield improvement, factory readiness, and operational scalability activities. Analyze quality and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Participate in manufacturing reviews and operational readiness assessments. Support new product introductions, business ramps, and manufacturing transitions. Quality Systems and Compliance Maintain quality documentation, audit readiness, and compliance requirements. Support quality management system governance activities. Drive process standardization and operational discipline across the tester ecosystem. Ensure compliance with Intel quality standards and manufacturing requirements. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, quality engineering, factory operations, reliability engineering, or supply chain operations. Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience using SAP or equivalent business systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications Semiconductor manufacturing experience. Experience supporting supplier quality, manufacturing quality, reliability, or factory operations. Knowledge of quality management systems, corrective actions, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supply chains. Understanding of manufacturing execution, material management, and factory operations. Experience leading cross-functional problem-solving activities.
