Meet the Team We are Cisco's Failure Analysis & Prevention team, which plays a critical role in ensuring high Customer/Product quality. The Technology and Quality organization is responsible for delivering customer-focused quality, reliability solutions and infrastructure for Cisco products. Key responsibilities include: Decisions impact the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own function/client group; contributions may result in business or process improvements Manages medium to large sized projects with moderate to high risk; solution may require collaboration among cross-functional teams; there may be multiple interdependencies, and the solution could impact many applications Solves highly complex problems and is able to identify viable and often innovative options, and uses analytical skills and judgment to recommend an appropriate solution Helps drive process and manage projects Solves highly complex problems and is able to identify viable and often innovative options, and uses analytical skills and judgment to recommend an appropriate solution Defines and validates the project scope, plan and schedule for complex projects; define metrics for project success; select and apply standards (e.g. delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance Identifies risks to project success and creates mitigation plans Manages project delivery process, scope and costs of complex projects with minimal supervision; drives completion of the project and mentors other team members Establishes partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensures alignment for project outcomes, end products and/or solutions Drives change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization and contributing to development of training Evaluates project results against success metrics; creates or reengineers processes and resources to improve productivity and end product Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree plus 10 years of related project/program management experience Masters degree plus 7 years of related experience Prior experience leading and managing cross-functional teams and external vendors Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to manage various stakeholders expectations Proven ability to define program scores, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects Provide training and lead by example to new team members Preferred Qualifications (Provide up to five (5) bullet points: these can include soft skills): Masters certification in project/program management Industry experience with Semiconductor or Manufacturing industry Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and analytical skills Experience working with cross-functional teams in a challenging environment Why Cisco?
