Position Overview Analog Devices (ADI) is seeking a highly strategic and commercially minded Principal Analyst, Sales Operations Strategic Initiatives to drive the successful implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement of critical commercial initiatives across the global sales organization. This role serves as the operational bridge between Sales Leadership, Business Unit Leadership, and Sales Operations, ensuring strategic initiatives are clearly defined, consistently executed, and embedded into day-to-day sales processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating alignment across stakeholders, translating strategy into actionable processes, enabling adoption through training and change management, and providing executive-level insights into performance and business impact. Initially, the role will focus on two critical strategic initiatives: Customer Serviceable Available Market (SAM) Management and Expansion Systematizing ADI's System-Level Selling Methodology This individual will establish the operational framework, governance processes, KPI tracking, reporting mechanisms, and field enablement required to drive measurable business outcomes from these initiatives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Initiative Leadership Lead the operational execution of strategic commercial initiatives from concept through global deployment and adoption. Act as the primary liaison between Sales Leadership, Business Unit Leadership, and Sales Operations to ensure alignment of objectives, definitions, processes, and success metrics. Translate strategic concepts into standardized and scalable business processes. Develop implementation roadmaps, governance structures, success metrics, and continuous improvement plans. Drive organizational adoption through communication, training, and change management activities. Provide regular executive updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations. Customer Serviceable Available Market (SAM) Program Ownership Serve as the Sales Operations owner of ADI's Customer SAM process. Responsibilities include: Lead the collection, management, and reporting of Customer SAM data across the global sales organization. Establish clear governance processes to ensure SAM definitions are consistently applied across all regions. Develop training programs that educate the sales organization on: Customer SAM methodology Market opportunity identification Revenue gap assessment Expansion opportunity documentation Ensure alignment between Customer SAM processes and Business Unit Market Models. Identify and document Customer SAM expansion opportunities that can drive incremental revenue growth. Partner with Sales Leadership and Business Units to analyze trends, identify whitespace opportunities, and prioritize growth initiatives. Develop executive dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into: Customer SAM coverage Revenue penetration Expansion opportunities Growth performance against market potential Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience within the semiconductor industry. Deep understanding of semiconductor markets, customer engagement models, and commercial growth strategies. Experience working with sales, marketing, product management, or business unit organizations. Proven ability to lead strategic cross-functional initiatives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent presentation and executive communication abilities. Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, Product Marketing, or Commercial Excellence. Experience conducting market analysis, TAM/SAM modeling, or growth opportunity assessments. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce. Experience developing KPI frameworks, scorecards, and executive dashboards. Understanding of system-level selling approaches within semiconductor or technology industries. Experience leading organizational change and adoption programs. Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $135,200 to $185,900.Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
