This team is focused on driving the strategic transformation of end-to-end Finance processes by combining deep functional expertise with emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation. Working at the intersection of Finance, Technology, Data, and AI, the team partners closely with multi-functional customers to reimagine business processes, strengthen controls, simplify operations, and deliver scalable solutions that generate measurable business outcomes. This is an opportunity to help embed AI into the DNA of the finance function and play a leadership role in defining the future of Finance transformation. Your Impact As the Director – Finance Process & AI Transformation, you will lead the strategic shift of our end-to-end Finance processes into an AI-first landscape. This role will drive process reimagination by using Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and advanced operating models. Partnering closely with technology, data, and AI teams, you will deliver measurable business outcomes by translating complex business needs into scalable, AI-enabled solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep Finance process expertise, strong transformation leadership, and a visionary approach to embedding AI into the core of the finance function. In this role, you will: Lead enterprise-wide Finance process and AI-readiness assessments to identify problems, root causes, data gaps, and opportunities for AI disruption Define and design future-state Finance processes, controls, and operating models to achieve an AI-first landscape, with a focus on standardization, simplification, and intelligent automation Develop and own the Finance process transformation roadmap, along with associated cases for AI investments Translate business and process requirements into clear inputs to support integration into AI models, ERP systems, and other advanced technologies Partner with technology and data science teams to define high-level solution options, Key Business Decisions (KBDs), and Key Design Decisions (KDDs) for AI integration Define future-state Finance processes, controls, and operating models to achieve standardization, simplification, and automation Monitor benefits realization, track transformation performance, and measure the value of process initiatives Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, Commerce or related field. 10+ years of experience in Finance process transformation, business architecture, or large-scale change initiatives. Demonstrable experience leading enterprise-wide Finance transformation, AI adoption, and ERP implementation programs. Strong knowledge of Finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Revenue Recognition. Familiarity with AI technologies (eg: Generative AI, ML and NLP) and their practical, scalable applications in corporate finance. Demonstrated ability to build cases and quantify the financial and operational benefits of AI, automation investments and partner management skills, with the ability to demystify AI concepts for non-technical finance leaders. Preferred Qualifications CPA, MBA, or advanced degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field preferred. Specific experience leading AI-driven transformation or intelligent automation programs. Deep expertise in defining future-state Finance processes, controls, and operating models. Strong strategic thinking and AI-driven problem-solving capabilities. Expertise in Finance process transformation, business architecture, and AI enablement. Proven success in transformation execution and digital change leadership. Executive-level communication and stakeholder influence skills. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies: 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco Non-exempt employees** receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations) 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100
