At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. Introduction As a Technical Product Owner, you will define the long-term product vision while simultaneously translating complex business processes into requirements tackling complex business problems with emerging ambiguity. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of the business domain, related technologies, and their interdependencies, applying advanced tools and techniques to translate requirements into strategic implementation plans. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, shaping stakeholder perspectives, handling process interdependencies, and significantly contributing to the design and validation of the Product Roadmap. The responsibility of RDT Site, SHE & Sustainability spans across the Business Functions Sustainability, Group SHE (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Protection) and the Sites Network, consisting of the large multi-functional sites Mannheim, Penzberg and Ludwigsburg in Germany; South San Francisco, Indianapolis, Pleasanton and Santa Clara in the US; Rotkreuz, Basel/Kaiseraugst and Roche Forum Buonas in Switzerland as well as the global functions Global Capital Investment, Real Estate & Facility Management, Global Data & Digital Solutions and Site Network Strategy. The technology stack of Product Sites supports the solutions of following capabilities: General Site Services & IoT Fixed Asset Strategy, Portfolio & Project Engineering Facility Management & Real Estate Site Logistics, Supply and Disposal Driven by the mission to ensure employees and business functions operate in safe, attractive, and sustainable environments with a unified experience, this role is primarily responsible for defining product vision and strategy. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of technology solutions for a subset of the aforementioned capabilities. Achieving success in this position requires attention to detail along with the ability to balance both global and local business priorities. The Opportunity: Define & Drive Product Vision: Own the end-to-end lifecycle, strategy, and strategic roadmaps for technology solutions within the Site, SHE, and Sustainability capabilities. Translate Ambiguity into Action: Independently manage and translate complex, ambiguous business processes and technical requirements into actionable implementation plans and solution roadmaps. Lead Complex Problem Solving: Perform thorough domain research and root cause analysis to deliver comprehensive requirements that guide selection and implementation of optimal solutions. Maximize Business Impact: Proactively identify needs-solution discrepancies and propose creative enhancements that deliver measurable, strategic business value. Serve as a Trusted Advisor: Cultivate strong relationships across diverse cross-functional teams, leveraging deep domain knowledge to align stakeholder expectations with business objectives. Facilitate Strategic Collaboration: Organize and lead workshops, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and establish tailored stakeholder engagement strategies across functional areas. Manage Multi-Solution Complexity: Evaluate product decisions across broader, interconnected solution environments, systematically balancing immediate needs with long-term impacts. Balance Global & Local Priorities: Strategically align technology solutions with overarching global goals while maintaining agility to address local site operational needs. Who you are: Education: Educated to Degree level (Bachelor's or Master's) in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Core Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Consultancy, with at least 3+ years dedicated to life sciences, pharma, or the supported business function. Autonomous Execution: Demonstrated capability to independently lead comprehensive Business Analysis workstreams while navigating complex, ambiguous business problems. Strategic Translation: Proven track record of translating complex requirements into strategic, actionable implementation plans aligned with broader organizational goals. Technical & Analytical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Business Analysis and Consultancy practices, with strong skills in requirements elicitation, usability, data analysis, process mapping, and change management. Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to lead workshops, resolve conflicts, and strategically manage stakeholder relationships across functions. Process Leadership & Business Acumen: Proactive mindset focused on continuous process improvement (e.g., active participation in Communities of Practice) with strong acumen in Site Operations processes and technology solutions. What you get: Salary range 14 000 - 26 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract. Annual bonus payment based on your performance (target 15%).
