The Position Technical Product Owner Roche Digital Technology (RDT) is where innovation meets purpose. Introduction The Technical Product Owner possesses in-depth knowledge of the business domain, relevant technologies, and organizational strategy to provide holistic, enterprise-wide consulting advice. In this role, you will apply systems thinking to navigate the complexity of interconnected systems, overseeing initiatives with full autonomy and leading analysis efforts across highly ambiguous spaces. Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, you will actively shape long-term roadmaps, drive consensus through persuasive communication, and recommend optimal technology solutions for sustainable business transformation. The responsibility of RDT Site, SHE & Sustainability spans across the Business Functions Sustainability, Group SHE (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Protection) and the Sites Network, consisting of the large multi-functional sites Mannheim, Penzberg and Ludwigsburg in Germany; South San Francisco, Indianapolis, Pleasanton and Santa Clara in the US; Rotkreuz, Basel/Kaiseraugst and Roche Forum Buonas in Switzerland as well as the global functions Global Capital Investment, Real Estate & Facility Management, Global Data & Digital Solutions and Site Network Strategy. The technology stack of Product Sites supports the solutions of following capabilities: General Site Services & IoT Fixed Asset Strategy, Portfolio & Project Engineering Facility Management & Real Estate Site Logistics, Supply and Disposal With the mission that employees and business functions work in safe, attractive, and sustainable sites with the same experience, this role serves defining product vision and direction, maintaining full end-to-end lifecycle accountability for technology solutions across a key subset of capabilities. Success requires a sophisticated ability to reconcile global strategy with localized business priorities, ensuring precision in execution without sacrificing high-level vision. The Opportunity: Define Product Vision & Lifecycle: Maintain end-to-end lifecycle accountability and define the overarching vision and direction for technology solutions across key site capabilities. Lead Autonomous Initiatives: Oversee complex, large-scale initiatives with full autonomy, leading business analysis efforts across highly ambiguous and evolving problem spaces. Provide Enterprise Systems Consulting: Apply systems thinking to deliver holistic, enterprise-wide consulting advice, navigating interconnected systems to address multifaceted business challenges. Shape Strategic Roadmaps: Evaluate strategic solution options using advanced value analysis and risk assessments to shape long-term technology roadmaps that drive sustainable business transformation. Drive Root Cause & Problem Analysis: Lead thorough root cause analysis across organizational boundaries, proactively preventing scope creep while delivering high-impact business analysis content. Act as Trusted Advisor to Leadership: Engage key stakeholders and senior management across organizational boundaries, shaping strategy and driving consensus through persuasive communication. Resolve Conflicts & Empower Teams: Actively navigate cross-functional conflicts to achieve organizational alignment while empowering and guiding teams in stakeholder management best practices. Reconcile Global & Local Priorities: Analyze problem spaces through a holistic lens, successfully balancing macro organizational goals with localized site operational priorities. Who you are: Education: Educated to Degree level (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Extensive Experience: 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Consultancy, with demonstrated experience overseeing large initiatives autonomously and driving alignment across highly ambiguous domains. BA Advisory Mastery: Advanced expertise in Business Analysis Advisory/Consultancy concepts and tailored methodologies to solve unusually complex problems with innovative tech solutions. Systems Thinking & Strategy: Proven ability to apply systems thinking to provide enterprise-wide advice, conducting advanced value and risk assessments for sustainable transformation. Stakeholder Management & Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, acting as a role model in teamwork and building consensus across Informatics and business structures. Mentorship & CoP Leadership: Dedicated to organizational development, with a proven track record of showing leadership in the Community of Practice (CoP) and mentoring senior BA practitioners. Domain Acumen (Preferred): Deep business acumen regarding Site Operations processes, capabilities, and related technology solutions is a plus. What you get: Salary range 19 000 - 35 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract. Annual bonus payment based on your performance (target 20%).
