THE ROLE: In the rapidly expanding world of AI and HPC, enabling solid system level integration and validation via automation becomes paramount. Our DCGPU automation solutions enable AI accelerators, such as the MI product series, to hit the market faster and better. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in GitHub Actions and automation frameworks such as Ansible. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining CI/CD workflows, automating infrastructure and configuration management, and optimizing containerized environments using Docker. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential. THE PERSON: You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team creating cutting-edge internal automation tools and solutions that are essential for the validation of our next-generation data center technologies. Your passion for DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), and software engineering best practices will enable our engineering teams to advance the state of HPC and AI at an accelerated pace. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. · Implement and manage configuration management tasks using Ansible, including playbook creation and maintenance. · Write and maintain scripts for automation tasks in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell. · Create and manage Docker images, ensuring best practices for container deployments. · Collaborate with development teams to implement industry best practices for configuration and deployment. · Troubleshoot build, test, and deployment issues in a timely manner. · Work closely with stakeholders (developers, QA, product owners) to ensure alignment on requirements and timelines. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: · Solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices. · Proficiency in GitHub Actions (configuring workflows and creating custom actions). · Experience using Ansible for configuration management (writing playbooks, roles, inventories). · Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. · Strong skills in Bash scripting (PowerShell knowledge is a plus). · Knowledge of Docker (creating and optimizing container images). · Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS: · Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Ansible) · Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) · Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes) · Experience setting up automated testing in CI/CD environments. · Understanding of security best practices in pipelines and containers · Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus and writing custom scrapers OTHER ATTRIBUTES: · Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. · Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving DevOps landscape. · A collaborative mindset, comfortable working across cross-functional teams.
