The Install Qualification Operation Specialist is responsible for driving key milestones that enable equipment installation, readiness, and qualification within Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS). This role leads equipment installation execution from pre-design through design completion and readiness for SL2 signoff, ensuring safe delivery, accurate scope definition, efficient construction execution, and timely vendor qualification. This position requires onsite presence five days per week and close coordination with manufacturing, design, construction, OEMs, trade contractors, suppliers, and business partners. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: Safety and Compliance Champion Intel's Culture of Caring and promote safe behaviors throughout design, construction, installation, and qualification activities. Ensure compliance with cleanroom requirements, intellectual property protection standards, site protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements. Support readiness for audits and inspections by maintaining adherence to established procedures and standards. Installation and Qualification Execution Drive key tool installation milestones, including set, rigging, placement, hook-up, energization, supplier qualification, and Intel qualification. Support troubleshooting and issue resolution activities during supplier and Intel qualification phases. Develop and maintain detailed micro-schedules and pull plans to support installation and qualification milestones. Execute decoupled construction strategies between SET and SL2 milestones to accelerate readiness. Coordinate facility and system readiness activities, including LSS, eFIT, TAB, networking, and ESOPN requirements. Design and Scope Alignment Ensure complete tool installation scope is loaded into DAC before design engagement. Participate in cross-functional design reviews with CIT, TICE, Layout, OEMs, and module teams. Validate OEM requirements and ensure alignment with Intel standards, including SEED, EDS, and UDS requirements. Support LSP creation, routing validation, point-of-contact assignments, and space management activities. Minimize design changes by reducing DCNs, DCRs, and late-stage scope modifications whenever possible. Execution Planning and Stakeholder Coordination Lead coordination meetings and execution planning sessions involving multiple suppliers and stakeholders. Translate technical and business requirements into executable plans and project schedules. Forecast equipment, materials, labor, and resource requirements to support project execution. Ensure timely delivery and readiness of tools, prefabrication kits, globals, and associated parts. Coordinate equipment decommissioning and demolition activities as required. Supplier and Vendor Management Partner with OEMs and third-party suppliers to achieve best-in-class qualification performance and cycle times. Drive early supplier engagement and facility readiness through ESOPN and related approval processes. Ensure smooth transitions from construction completion through equipment qualification. Support supplier performance management through KPIs, scorecards, and collaboration with Procurement partners. Operations and Continuous Improvement Oversee contractor and supplier activities in accordance with project requirements and service-level agreements. Support operational budget management and drive efficient use of resources. Apply Lean principles to reduce waste, shorten installation durations, and improve overall quality. Capture and share lessons learned across modules, projects, and sites. Drive innovation and adoption of Best Known Methods (BKMs) to improve installation and qualification performance. Qualifications:Qualifications You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must possess one of the following: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or a related field and 1+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities construction, equipment installation, project management, equipment engineering, tool ownership, qualification, maintenance, or related technical operations experience. OR Associate's degree in a technical field related to semiconductor manufacturing and 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities construction, equipment installation, project management, equipment engineering, tool ownership, qualification, maintenance, or related technical operations experience. OR 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, facilities construction, equipment installation, project management, equipment engineering, tool ownership, qualification, maintenance, or related technical operations experience in lieu of a degree. Ability to work onsite in a semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom, and construction environment. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training. Experience supporting medium- to large-scale semiconductor construction, factory startup, equipment installation, or capacity expansion programs. Experience leading cross-functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and OEM partners to achieve project milestones. Knowledge of semiconductor equipment installation, qualification, maintenance, and operational readiness processes. Experience with facility readiness activities including utility startup, equipment hook-up, system turnover, and commissioning processes. Experience supporting equipment decommissioning, demolition, relocation, or factory conversion activities. Familiarity with automation systems, station controller configuration, or manufacturing execution systems.
