The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Procurement Service Delivery Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership to employees supporting procurement and sourcing operations within a defined service delivery environment. This role is responsible for supervising daily procurement activities, ensuring timely and high-quality service, supporting sourcing processes, resolving operational issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience in procurement, shared services, business process outsourcing, or a similar operational setting. This position works within established processes while exercising judgment to manage priorities, support team effectiveness, and contribute to quality, cost, and service objectives. Your roles and responsibilities would be to: Lead daily procurement service delivery activities by managing team workload, assigning priorities, ensuring quality and timeliness, and providing coaching and guidance to team members. Support sourcing and procurement operations by resolving issues, collaborating with stakeholders, monitoring performance metrics, and driving service excellence and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and 3M standards while supporting process improvements, documentation, service transitions, and other assigned responsibilities. Provide direct supervision, coaching, onboarding, training, and development support to team members while reinforcing compliance with corporate, site, and functional policies and procedures. Manage daily work allocation, monitor performance and service levels, provide ongoing feedback, support performance reviews, address attendance or conduct matters appropriately, and coordinate with workforce vendors or external service providers. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start). Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, shared services, or service delivery operations, with at least 3–4 years of prior team leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles related to materials, supplies, services, and transactional procurement. Demonstrated leadership ability with strong coaching, team development, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Customer-focused and operationally driven, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems, and the ability to maintain quality, compliance, and team engagement while supporting continuous improvement. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Experience with ERP/SAP and procurement or sourcing tools preferred. Structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to work. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
