This position reports to: Global Procurement Manager __ Your role and responsibilities The Global Procurement Analyst provides analytical, reporting, and process support to the Global Procurement organisation across multiple business units and geographies. The role combines financial acumen, data analytics, and sourcing knowledge to generate actionable insights that drive cost optimisation, improve supplier performance, and enhance procurement governance globally. The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote You will be mainly accountable for:Contributing to the development and implementation of procurement standards, tools, and processes in the global organization Develop and maintain global spend analytics dashboards and category spend reports using SAP, Power BI, or similar tools. Conduct purchase price variance (PPV) analysis, cost forecasting, and savings tracking against annual targets. Monitor and report supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, cost) and support quarterly business review (QBR) preparation. Support Global team in the Sustainabiity targets and REACH et RoHS. Assist in risk analysis: supply base concentration risk, single-source dependency, geopolitical risk mapping. Support sustainability and compliance initiatives (ESG supplier assessments, trade compliance, ABB supplier code of conduct). Support ad hoc preparation and execution of global RFQ/RFP processes: data collection, bid normalisation, total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling, and award recommendations. Key Performance Indicators:Quality and timeliness of procurement reports and analytics Contribution to cost savings identification and realisation Data accuracy and ERP master data quality Sourcing project support completion rate and timeliness Supplier KPI reporting coverage Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role2–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain analytics, or operations. Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced), Power BI, and SAP/ERP systems. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Experience with spend analytics tools (SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or similar) is a plus. Solid understanding of procurement processes: sourcing, contracting, supplier management, and PO management. Excellent analytical and presentation skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights. Fluent English (written and verbal); additional language (Italian, Spanish, Bulgarian, or other) is a plus. Ability to work effectively across different time zones and multicultural teams.​ This opportunity is open to candidates in multiple countries, with the final work location determined based on the selected candidate.
