Job Title Senior DevOps Engineer About Your Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure. You will help shape infrastructure and automation capabilities from the ground up while driving operational excellence through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, monitoring, and security best practices. In this role, you will contribute to innovative cloud initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously expand your expertise as an Azure cloud professional. What you’ll do: Design, implement, and support secure Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions across enterprise environments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab to enable efficient, automated software delivery Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration management Implement and maintain Zero Trust security architectures, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and security controls Identify, assess, and remediate infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities Create and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Troubleshoot production issues, restore services, and maintain operational runbooks and knowledgebase documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud modernization initiatives and provide limited scheduled after-hours support when needed Experience you’ll need to have: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure environments 5+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps and GitLab 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation 3+ years of experience supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including Application Gateway, API Management, App Service, Azure Monitor, Azure Storage, Azure Front Door, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure DevOps Experience implementing Azure monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational dashboard solutions Prior Fiserv Application Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience Experience that would be great to have: Experience supporting WebLogic and Apache environments Experience configuring and administering Microsoft Sentinel Knowledge of FISMA High, FedRAMP High, and Zero Trust Architecture frameworks Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, or similar cloud certifications How you’ll work: Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment Travel: Approximately 5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected Sponsorship: In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Salary Range: $109,000.00-$152,000.00 These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
