WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU! “This job opportunity is governed by Chilean Law No. 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace.” PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Lead and continuously improve regional freight operations across South America, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, high-quality and sustainable transportation solutions. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving freight performance and ensuring compliance with Trade Compliance standards, customs requirements and applicable international trade regulations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the regional Freight Operations team. Ensure the team remains up to date with the latest developments, regulations and best practices in domestic and international freight transportation. Design and implement regional and local freight strategies and transportation solutions. Manage inbound and outbound freight operations. Manage regional relationships with logistics service providers, carriers and customs brokers. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation required for customs and trade compliance. Ensure compliance with local and regional customs requirements and regulations. Lead the management and operations of the Freight Control Tower. Monitor and improve cost, quality and delivery performance. Manage operational exceptions, deviations and corrective actions. Oversee freight invoice validation and control processes. Drive freight cost-effectiveness, profitability and operational efficiency. Ensure appropriate governance, administration and maintenance of transportation contracts, agreements and related documentation. Participate in relevant global Supply Chain and Logistics projects. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field. Based in Chile, Peru or Brazil. Minimum of seven years of experience in freight transportation, logistics operations or a related area. At least four years of experience leading regional teams. Advanced English proficiency is mandatory. Intermediate Portuguese proficiency is desirable. Valid Class B driver’s license or local equivalent. Availability to travel domestically and internationally. Flexibility to work across different schedules and time zones when required. KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain Management. Advanced knowledge of Performance Management. Experience working in warehousing, distribution, logistics or supply chain environments. Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) is desirable. Proven experience managing Logistics Service Providers. Strong working knowledge of international trade and freight insurance processes. Strong knowledge of operational freight processes, including booking and invoice validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
