Managing the translation database to ensure layout accuracy. Perform platemaking operations such as color separation, distortion, and imposition for orders YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE 1. Creating layout: - Check for update information from GPD and proceed to update the items; - Manage translation databases for use in layout creation; - Create layout by entering the customer's order form information accurately into the automation program to create layout or use available tools on the design software to create manual layout; 2. Making plate: - Perform prepress operations (color separation, distortion, imposition,...) to process orders according to production plan and make sure no missing order; - Manage and record timeline to receive and complete order; 3. Coordinate with other departments: - Back-up team-members when workload makes this necessary; - Collaborate within team & another team to clearing order pending daily. 1 - 3 years experience as a graphic designer. Willing to work on shifts Knowledgeable of internal products, manufacturing, and pre-press processes Well organized individual with an ability to handle multiple deadline driven projects simultaneously. Experienced in managing printing and pre-press process with suppliers Basic communication in English Understanding of applicable computer systems/software, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, other function specific software, as well as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, illustration of ideas. Use e-xact equipment and understand color space.
