Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Financial Analyst role will make an impact: Key responsibilities for this role include: Support the development and system submission processes of the annual budget and monthly forecasts, including collaborating with Commercial and Operations department personnel to develop and consolidate Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold and Operating Expenses. Prepare deliverables and presentations as part of the annual budget and monthly forecast review processes • Review and analyze the monthly financial results with comparisons to the budget, prior forecasts, and prior periods providing explanations for variances. Analyze financial and non-financial data to identify trends and explain variances. Collaborate with Commercial personnel to support the product forecasting process, including analyzing sales trends and market dynamics to provide product forecast recommendations. Support financial reporting to the Commercial and Operational teams, including daily revenue, monthly financial results and ad-hoc reporting. Support certain areas of the monthly accounting process that are managed by the local market finance team, including preparation of corporate customer reconciliations, recording monthly journal entries and executing certain procedures required as part of the month-end close. Execute on day-to-day requirements to support the finance operations. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in the budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial reporting processes. Provide support to the Finance Director and Senior Manager where required. The minimum qualifications for this role are: University Degree with specialization in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. 1-2 years of relevant work experience. Proficient level of experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Solid analytical skills and communication skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment. Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic environment and requirements. Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task daily in a fast paced environment. Strong analytical skills. Analysis and reporting of financial data. Team player who identifies issues, takes responsibility, and implements solutions. Willingness to cross-train and learn new duties. Express a high degree of discretion, confidentiality. Hyperion, SAP and SmartView tool experience a plus.
