This position reports to: Electronics & Devices Procurement Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also apply your skills in supporting the identification of new suppliers in collaboration with the relevant category team. The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: • Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements. • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. • Proposing frame agreements to leadership and acting on them after receiving approval. • Verifying external capacity of all suppliers and approaching new ones on the market. • Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value. Qualifications for the roleYou hold at least a Bachelor Degree in Engineering fields; Previous experience in product engineering, supply chain or purchasing area would be considered a plus; Knowledge of main Mechanical technologies used in industrial processes would be a nice to have; Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus; You are at ease communicating in English and Italian; Good knowledge of MS Office (excel, access, word, ppt); Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage different tasks, good communication skills.
