The Opportunity This position works out of our Central Europe Region within the Abbott Nutrition International (ANI) Division. As the Demand & Logistic Coordinator CE Region, you will play a key role in supporting demand planning, forecasting, logistics coordination, and S&OP processes across the Central Europe region. You will work closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, maintain data integrity, and drive operational excellence. This position serves as a critical link between Demand and Supply, helping the business achieve performance objectives while supporting continuous process improvement. This is a maternity cover position offered on a fixed-term contract through at least the end of 2027, providing an excellent opportunity to gain broad regional exposure within Abbott Nutrition. Subject to business needs and performance, there may be an opportunity for transition into a permanent role in the future. What You'll Do Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with Abbott quality standards, corporate policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Support and coordinate the forecasting process across the Central Europe region in partnership with the Demand Manager. Lead monthly forecast reviews, analyzing variances, trends, risks, and opportunities while driving corrective actions. Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams to deliver an accurate and reliable 28-month demand plan. Maintain data integrity across planning systems including BOBJ, APO, and other forecasting tools. Optimize forecasting parameters and planning settings to improve forecast accuracy and planning performance. Prepare, maintain, and publish demand planning reports, including ADS, unconsumed forecast, and backorder reports. Monitor key performance indicators and provide variance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders. Coordinate forecast alignment between item-level planning and product family strategies. Manage forecast consumption, rollover processes, and predecessor/successor product transitions. Serve as the communication link between Demand and Supply teams, proactively identifying and communicating supply risks. Monitor supply availability and inventory performance, escalating potential issues and recommending solutions. Prepare data and actively participate in monthly S&OP reviews and business planning meetings. Oversee distributor inventory performance and support healthy inventory management across the region. Coordinate logistics-related activities, including complaints, credit orders, and operational issue resolution. Partner with logistics specialists, customer service teams, distributors, and regional stakeholders to ensure efficient operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning and logistics processes. Support reporting, business presentations, customer profile setup, distribution contract administration, and ad hoc business analyses. Maintain forecasting and logistics-related master data and support audit documentation requirements. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Demand & Logistic Manager. Required Qualifications University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or a related field. Experience in demand planning, supply chain, logistics, forecasting, or a related operational function. Strong understanding of demand planning processes, forecasting methodologies, inventory management, and S&OP principles. Experience working with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, APO, BOBJ, or similar tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Fluent English, both written and verbal. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Service and results-oriented mindset with a commitment to operational excellence. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Continuous learning mindset with a desire to improve processes and drive business improvements. The base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
