What You'll DoAs the Renewal Sales Specialist for France, you will be responsible for managing and selling Term, Cloud, and Perpetual license renewals of Splunk's industry-leading software. You’ll work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to improve retention, minimize churn risk, and drive growth across your territory. You will have a proven track record of success in renewing Term Licences and/or Cloud Subscriptions, building positive, long-term relationships with customers, the broader account management team, and channel partners. This position carries a sales quota. Key responsibilitiesManage parts of the French territory, carrying an individual renewal and growth target. Enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and demonstrates the ability to adapt quickly to change. Meet and exceed assigned renewal rate, retention, and upsell/cross-sell targets. Work on out of quarter cycles, engaging proactively with account teams, partners, and customer data to identify renewal risk and take corrective actions to secure on-time renewals. Identify expansion opportunities to generate additional revenue (upsell/cross-sell), ensuring appropriate engagement with the Account and Partner teams. Maintain accurate account, license, contract, and entitlement data in Salesforce and relevant dashboards (e.g., Tableau). Lead renewals from opportunity creation to invoice, understanding pricing, contract terms, and Splunk policies. Deliver predictable and accurate forecasting through disciplined pipeline and opportunity management. Proactively identify issues impacting renewals and coordinate across teams to resolve them. Track and analyse non-renewals, pending renewals, and churn reasons to generate actionable insights. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase renewal efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Who You AreProven experience in Sales or Renewals within a SaaS organization, managing diverse customer portfolios and meeting/exceeding retention and growth targets. Strong business acumen and ability to articulate business value through data, networking, and analytics technology. Confident executive presence with excellent communication and listening skills at C-level. Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Success, Pre-Sales, Partners, and Services teams to ensure customer adoption, value realization, and satisfaction. Experience working within both direct customer and channel sales models. Skilled in identifying and mitigating renewal risk well ahead of renewal date (8 quarters or more). Strong relationship-building skills with a personalized, consultative approach. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, take initiative, and work independently. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort using CRM and BI tools. Collaborative and team-oriented, eager to contribute to shared success and continuous improvement. Fluency in English and French. Previous experience managing French customer accounts preferred. To be based in France. Why Cisco?
