This position reports to: Supply Chain Manager __ The work model for the role is: Onsite, Fort Smith, AR Your role and responsibilities: Support daily operations and team leadership by guiding employees, assisting with supervision, conducting stand-up huddles, and serving as a resource to maintain positive employee relations. Ensure production goals are met by monitoring workflow, maintaining production output, responding to operator issues and ANDON alerts, and escalating concerns or improvement opportunities. Promote safety, efficiency, and resource management by helping oversee material utilization, identifying waste, ensuring injury protocols and reporting requirements are followed, and stepping into operational roles when staffing is short. Drive communication and continuous improvement by providing shift reports, communicating improvement ideas to leadership, supporting problem-solving efforts, and performing additional duties or overtime as needed. Qualifications for the role: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 Year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred. Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others. Strong communication and teamwork skills: Effective communicator with strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Adaptability and organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to change, with a willingness to cross-train and maintain a positive, team-focused attitude. Technical and operational proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong technical skills and a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
