The Opportunity Under direct supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse. The daily shift for this role is 2nd shift (2:30p-11:00p M-W, 1:00p-9:30p Th-F) What You'll Do Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Pick order, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records. Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules). Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms Required Qualifications High School Diploma/ GED Minimum 3 years of experience Preferred Qualifications Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred. Seeks efficiency in systems/processes. Manages own time under general supervision. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization. Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Oracle experience preferred. Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Needs to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
