You will: Design, develop, and maintain high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports that meet complex business requirements. Perform end-to-end data transformation, including data extraction, cleaning, and modeling using Power Query (M) and DAX. Collaborate with interested parties to translate business needs into technical specifications and intuitive visual solutions. Optimize report performance and data refresh schedules to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency. Maintain data security, governance, and access controls across the Power BI environment. Conduct detailed testing and validation of data models to ensure consistency and reliability. Provide documentation and training for end-users to promote data literacy and self-service reporting. Minimum qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent experience Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M), and DAX. Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance, and workspace administration. Experience optimizing report performance, semantic models, and refresh strategies. Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data warehouse concepts. Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control. Preferred qualifications Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical parties. Strong analytical mindset and a passion for continuous learning in the evolving AI landscape. Experience designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise semantic models (datasets) using best practices for scalability, performance, and maintainability. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including (Fabric Items) Experience working with Snowflake and other enterprise data sources. Knowledge of Power BI deployment pipelines, Git integration, and CI/CD practices. Familiarity with Power BI REST APIs, PowerShell, or Python for automation. Demonstrated interest in AI-enabled analytics, including Copilot and Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities. Microsoft PL-300 certification preferred, DP-600 certification is a plus. Why Cisco?
