Summary of the Job Product Specialist Sales is responsible for achieving Ethicon products tender and sales to new and established hospital accounts to accomplish sales objectives and greater market penetration. They develop strategies and handle complex negotiations to meet sales targets. The role involves market analysis, tender management, extensive travel, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Scope of Territory: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam Key Functions / Responsibilities - Conducts and implements market development and field marketing activities. Schedules appointments and makes preplanned sales presentations to customers. - This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions. - Assists in the attainment of established sales goals, including market share objectives in prescribed territory. - Demonstrates proper use of products to physicians. Develops customer- and product-focused presentation packages for sales. - Promotes and coordinates professional education activities to enhance the knowledge of healthcare professionals. - Acts as the direct line to customers. - Makes regular visits to customer locations to gather information on orders and market conditions. - Performs contract and/or tender management activities. Targets and manages assigned territory while operating within an assigned budget. - Coordinates with the logistics team to ensure product availability. - Executes national, regional, and local promotional activities that are designed to advance sales in specific product lines or areas. - Follows up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Develops and maintains sales forecasts for business planning by account and submits them to management. - Prepares sales reports and documents as required. - Provides management with customer feedback and marketplace information. Identifies potential impacts on business. - This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions. - Prepare and submit detailed reports on sales activities, client interactions, market feedback, and sales performance. - Maintain records of sales leads, customer accounts, and follow-up actions. - Work closely with marketing and other internal teams to develop promotional materials and support marketing campaigns. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in University of Medicine and Pharmacy Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Multinational’s healthcare industry. Proven experience in medical sales or a related field is preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, well organize and high commitment to work under high pressure. English skills in writing and speaking is is an advantage.
