As part of this team, you will be joining a high-performing group of financial authorities dedicated to supporting Cisco’s growth in the EMEA region through strategic risk management, regulatory excellence, and innovative deal structuring. Your Impact As the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) and Credit Underwriting Manager, you will serve as the primary leader for our DIFC operations. You will balance the dual responsibility of ensuring meticulous regulatory compliance with the DFSA while driving commercial growth through expert credit underwriting. You will act as a strategic advisor to regional sales and finance leadership, influencing high-value transactions and ensuring our financial services operations remain robust, compliant, and aligned with Cisco’s global risk appetite. Act as the primary interface for the DFSA, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory rules and corporate governance standards. Oversee internal policies, business conduct, and the integrity of credit reserves and risk ratings. Facilitate transparent communication between management, staff, and the Board of Directors regarding significant transactions and major business decisions. Lead the underwriting of high-value, non-standard, and sophisticated financing transactions to support aggressive sales growth while mitigating risk. Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Sales VPs and Finance Directors, providing critical insights on counterparty risk and market trends to influence commercial decision-making. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. Current status as an Authorized Individual by the DFSA (or eligibility to pass a rigorous Fitness & Propriety (F&P) assessment). In-depth knowledge of the DFSA Rulebook, specifically the GEN, AML, and PIB modules. Consistent record in credit management and structuring complex financing solutions. Professional English & Arabic proficiency Based in Dubai Preferred Qualifications Extensive experience operating within the DIFC regulatory framework. Advanced proficiency in financial statement analysis and risk modeling. Experience managing multi-regional portfolios across diverse cultural landscapes. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior customers at the executive level. Why Cisco?
