A Day in the LifeAs a Senior Training / Education Specialist, you play a key role in enabling commercial and marketing teams to effectively support products, therapies, and clinical procedures. A typical day may begin with collaborating with cross‑functional partners to identify training needs for new product launches or therapy updates. You may review feedback from field teams and stakeholders to refine course content or update lesson plans so that technical information remains current and aligned with company standards. Throughout the day, you design and deliver engaging in‑house training sessions for internal teams, ensuring that participants gain both technical knowledge and practical application skills. You also coordinate the development of training aids, course materials, and learning methodologies that support different learning styles. In addition, you maintain alignment with global training certification requirements and company objectives, ensuring all programs meet required standards. You frequently partner with commercial leaders, marketing teams, and other internal stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify opportunities for improvement. As a seasoned professional, you may also mentor colleagues, guide lower‑level specialists, and lead projects from initial design through implementation, helping ensure training initiatives deliver measurable impact. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Plans, develops, and delivers in-house product training and procedures/therapies programs for internal commercial and marketing functions and supporting enablers. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Ensures training program(s) meets company objectives and alignment to Global mandated training certification. Maintains communication with internal stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of training. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. Required Knowledge and Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory environment, clinical training, field sales or support within the medical device or healthcare industry, or equivalent experience. OR Associate’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. OR Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering technical or clinical training programs. Ability to manage training projects from design through implementation. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to improve processes, systems, or training effectiveness. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior internal stakeholders and cross functional teams. Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues and coordinating work across project teams. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
