Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Construction Manager, you will oversee complex, billion-dollar semiconductor factory construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with project goals. You will lead contracting strategies, evaluate proposals with precision, and manage resources to drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in advancing project management competencies, fostering a culture of safety and quality, and delivering impactful infrastructure solutions that support Intel's manufacturing capabilities. Business group The Construction group is an integral part of Intel's broader Operations organization, specializing in managing large-scale construction projects that enable Intel's world-class semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The team focuses on strategic planning, resource mobilization, and project execution, ensuring Intel's facilities are equipped to meet technological advancements and drive industry innovation. Key Responsibilities - Oversee the planning, execution, and management of complex semiconductor construction projects and programs. - Develop contracting strategies, negotiate with contractors, and evaluate bids/proposals with accuracy and detail. - Drive integration across finance, supply chain, estimating organizations, manufacturing, and facility operations. - Manage indirect budgets, forecast trade resources, resolve conflicts, and coordinate mobilization efforts. - Mentor and advise project management teams, fostering growth in project management competencies. - Innovate and implement new processes and procedures within the construction domain. - Lead efforts to define and enforce a safety and quality culture across all projects. - Enable teams to execute through clear goal setting, accountability, and differentiated performance management. - Inspire and develop team capabilities, ensuring a productive and engaged work environment. Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in AMHS construction project management with demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale construction projects. Proficiency in construction operations, contractor management, and project lifecycle execution. Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast resources, and resolve conflicts effectively. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field. Experience leading enterprise teams and driving strategic initiatives in construction management. Strong communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to inspire teams and drive results through others.
