Job Summary: This position provides leadership and production management in shift basis to ensure world class manufacturing principles are followed as well as production practices/KPIs are maintained and improved. This position will interact pro-actively with leadership team and implement all requirements down to shop floor. The incumbent is expected to actively participate in the benchmarking and sharing best practices among the Production Department in order to continuously improve the product supply capability. This position provides a common standard of communication and engagement across the factory. They liaise closely with the core factory functions, including Manufacturing, HR, Quality and Safety to achieve this. Responsibility: - Directly supervises employees in Production to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment. - Leads Production Planning Control team in managing raw material and master scheduling, consistently achieving target production hit rate, service and delivery requirements. - Design and implement operations improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, training, inventory, and services. - Collaborate with other functional areas to resolve problems and develop improved manufacturing processes, leverage Mfg 4.0 and AI. - Maintain quality control processes to ensure products/services meet quality standards; lead implementation of process improvements. - Drive improvement strategies in all key metric areas; manage production flow, staffing schedule and resources to budget and plan. - Ensure best practices and standard operating procedures are being followed by conducting frequent business audits. - Ensure AM practices, 5S and discipline/SOP compliance at shopfloor - Leads cross-functional continuous improvement projects to optimize CapEx allocation, driving significant cost savings and budget discipline - Collaborates closely with Production Planning Control and Commercial teams to analyze business performance and execute strategic initiatives to drive target achievement - Bachelor degree or above; Major in printing engineering, packaging or related; - 5-8 years experiences in similar areas - Strong leadership quality in accordance with Avery Dennison’s Leadership Principles. - Inter-functional Business understanding and knowledge, Business Intuition (in production aspects). - Special Skill: Knowledge and experiences in Enterprise Lean Sigma is very preferred. - Technical Skill: Engineering/process knowledge on garment production, printing/labeling operations is preferred. - Fluent in English is very preferred. - Candidates must be able to analyse factory and technical processes in order to identify opportunities for performance improvement.
