JOB DESCRIPTION:Help safeguard quality across a leading European Distribution CenterAre you passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our European Distribution Center in Machelen, Belgium. In this role, you will help ensure that products are received, stored, and distributed in compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality operations and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System. What You'll DoAs a Quality Specialist, you will: Support quality processes within the distribution center, including incoming inspections, returns management, quarantine control, ship holds, and document management. Perform visual inspections and evaluate materials against established quality requirements. Document quality activities accurately and maintain records in relevant systems and databases. Manage and monitor segregated inventory such as quarantined products, customer returns, demo equipment, expired stock, and biohazard materials. Support labeling, packaging, shelf-life extension, demo creation, product disposition, and related distribution activities. Assist in executing field actions, advisories, and recalls in collaboration with regional Quality and Regulatory Affairs teams. Contribute to internal audits and quality verification activities. Support clinical trial logistics, including product storage, traceability reporting, product returns, and final disposition activities. Participate in change control processes and maintain quality procedures and work instructions. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to Quality Management System enhancement projects. Promote a strong culture of quality and compliance throughout the distribution center. What You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience working within a regulated quality environment. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Good command of English, both written and spoken. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Preferred QualificationsExperience within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industry. Familiarity with ISO 13485 requirements. Experience supporting audits or inspection activities. Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements.
