As a US Field Inventory Manager, you will lead a team of Associate Analysts within the US Field Inventory organization responsible for supporting order fulfillment, field inventory movement, and inventory-related activities that help ensure product availability for case support and customer needs. This role is critical to delivering world-class service to healthcare professionals, Medtronic field representatives, and internal business partners. You will collaborate across functions to drive order fulfillment, inventory optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on service, execution, and business results. The US Field Inventory Manager plays an important role in connecting business strategy to operational execution. Success in this role requires strong people leadership, sound business judgment, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to influence and collaborate in a complex, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of inventory systems and operational processes, along with the ability to identify root causes, implement improvements, and lead a high-performing team. This will be a remote role in Bogotá, Colombia. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team within the US Field Inventory organization Provide day-to-day leadership for team operations, including workload management, prioritization, resource allocation, and performance oversight Foster an inclusive and engaging team culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, and continuous development Partner with US Field Inventory leadership to execute strategies that support product availability, inventory accuracy, and customer needs Drive initiatives focused on inventory optimization, order fulfilment, product launches, product transitions, and field corrective actions Develop, monitor, and leverage performance metrics to improve organizational effectiveness and drive results Evaluate, create, and implement standard work and process improvements across the organization Collaborate with other US Field Inventory leaders to operate as one cohesive organization across operating units, functions, and regions Monitor system and operational performance to ensure accurate and timely processing of inventory-related transactions Oversee field cycle count execution and reporting, including investigation and resolution of discrepancies between physical inventory and system records Partner cross-functionally with teams including warehouse operations, order management, customer-facing teams, and other internal stakeholders to support inventory processes Contribute to operational and strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment Ensure compliance with quality system tracking requirements, including field corrective actions, annual quality audits, and device tracking audits. Build strong working relationships across US-based teams to support effective communication and alignment Maintain a deep understanding of field inventory processes, systems, and business requirements Translate business priorities into actionable operational plans and deliver measurable results Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree Five years of experience in customer service, inventory management, supply chain, order fulfilment, field operations, or other related operational functions Three years of experience providing work direction, leading teams, or managing people Fluent in English Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Access, Business Objects, or similar platforms is a plus Inventory, supply chain, or asset management experience; Lean Sigma, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement training or certification; Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or other highly regulated industries and experience with SAP ERP is advantageous Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. ‌ Recruitment Fraud Alert We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
