Job Function: Supply Chain Manufacturing Job Sub Function: Manufacturing Process Improvement Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Diegem, Flemish Brabant, Belgium, Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland Job Description: DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, Business Platform Operations Support Lead, located in the United States or Ireland or Belgium. The Business Platform Operations Support Leader will be a part of the DePuy Synthesis Supply Chain and Operations Systems and Digital organization. This leader will play a significant role in a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ERP ecosystem standardizing our core business processes and products across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, and Data, while enabling our integrated data strategy through a an SAP S/4 HANA backbone. This role will be part of a platform business operations, enhancement and improvement organization that will fundamentally oversee the ongoing evolution of the DePuy Synthesis ERP platform, from deployment to long-term sustainability. The role will be accountable for supporting core business platform support operations. Specifically, this role will work closely with business partners to enable ongoing awareness, adoption, and effective use of the platform as new capabilities are delivered. This role will also support the ongoing sustainment of the existing business platform users’ persona-based training structure in learning platforms. Furthermore, this role will help mobilize platform regression testing, business error handling and resolution, as well as support the development and implementation of the global platform enhancement & intake management process. Lastly, this role will help establish the initial persona-based security provisioning process and will partner closely with program teams to support a smooth transition from deployment hypercare to operate state. This individual must leverage strong cross-functional business expertise, experience supporting transformative initiatives, ERP platform support knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively engage business stakeholders and process owners. Key Responsibilities Support the development and deployment of ongoing business user platform enablement and adoption for existing platform business users. ongoing business user platform enablement and adoption for existing platform business users. Ensure existing ERP platform user community is engaged and made aware of platform status, capabilities being delivered, changes and enhancements Support the platform enhancement and continuous improvement intake process from the platform user community and connect inputs into the solution design governance process Partner closely with the operate state team and the global business adoption team to leverage approaches, channels and materials to ensure the business platform community is aware of and ready to adopt platform enhancements and capabilities. Support a business super user forum to engage the platform Super-User Network and serve as a conduit of information between the business platform users and the MT TranSCend core team. Support globally standardized approaches to the ongoing sustainment of persona-based training curriculums leveraging the training platforms mobilized to support the MT TranSCend deployment roadmap. Support a global persona-based security role design and maintenance process that is implemented and governed thru robust persona-based design controls and governance Help ensure smooth transitions between program deployment hypercare and operate state Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable Requires a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, or large transformation programs. Requires a minimum of 6 years of Supply Chain experience. Preferred a minimum of 6 years of ERP platform support and/or transformation experience in a healthcare or health services industry Requires strong knowledge of Orthopedics Supply Chain including complexity of surgery kits Demonstrated hands-on project delivery required Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders Certification in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence, etc.) is helpful Ability to effectively support and participate in cross-functional decision-making bodies required Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates required Experience managing to project timelines and milestones in complex business environments required Skilled at engaging and building relationships with business stakeholders required Strong business and digital acumen, including ERP expertise required Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment required Requires Travel: up to 25% domestic and international. ​Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
