Job Description: System Z Technical ExpertiseRecognized technical contributor with solid z/OS system programming skills on the mainframe platform, not as computer operator, with minimum 18 years’ experience is free to apply. Strong exposure on adoption of product solutions/portfolio is a prerequisite. Proven ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of numerous variable factors is mandatory. Strong experience in mainframe Cybersecurity and/or DevOps is a must. Able to conduct technical presentations and/or Proof of Value with little supervision Working understanding of core business applications in FSI and/or government Architectural understanding of Hybrid Cloud integrating System z with public and private cloud Self-starter: requires independent daily decision-making capabilities and actions. Technical SkillsExperienced on z/OS, preferably z/OS 3.1 and above ZOWE proficiency z/OSMF proficiency SMP/e proficiency AT-TLS skills – a prerequisite SAF (RACF, ACF2, TSS) skills - a prerequisite Unix/Linux, and containers some exposure to installing/configuring modern software would be beneficial. Working expertise in mainframe DevOps adoption (Endevor, Testing tools, Git, etc). Minimum 18 years of strong hands-on experience as system programmer on mainframe platform, not as computer operator, is mandatory. Soft SkillsProblem-solving: Break down complexity and uncover obscure technical issues Structured communication: Clear insights delivered at different executive and technical levels Client management: Quickly building and sustaining trust. Comfortable to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise internally externally is an added advantage.
