Job Purpose As a Junior I&PI Engineer at GSK, you will embark on a 2-year journey to develop your skills in the vaccine production environment and drive the performance of processes in your area: analyze causes of variability, propose and implement actions to reduce or eliminate them The aim is to contribute to GSK Vaccine’s strategy in your area of responsibility and provide you with the tools and support necessary to develop your career within GSK. Key Responsibilities Management of InvestigationsIs the owner of deviations and complaints assigned to them. Conducts simple to moderate investigations for assigned deviations and complaints, leads gemba walks, analyzes data, and runs meetings and/or workshops with involved teams (process, maintenance, validation, quality, etc.). Identifies root causes and CAPAs to be implemented. Documents investigations and CAPAs in the appropriate system. Participates and provides the necessary input in appropriate governance meetings Presents the deviations they own during internal audits (L2, L3) Process analysis and continuous improvementKnows the ecosystem and continuous improvement tools and applies them daily to contribute to continuous improvement of production activities and resources. Leads comprehensive process analyses using appropriate methods (e.g., DMAIC) with statistical tools and has analyses validated by the Senior I&PI Engineer. Detects recurring patterns in process variation to understand root causes. Proposes robust solutions to address sources of variability. Prepares detailed analysis reports and communicates them to relevant functions (process, maintenance, validation, quality, etc.). Operational supportDevelops knowledge of production, quality and EHS processes Identifies value-added activities and does what is necessary to focus on identified priority tasks Performs self-inspections (management monitoring) on processes in their area. Maintains a cross-functional view of the units they support. Ensures effective communication and optimal collaboration within their team and with other partners (process, maintenance, validation, quality, etc.). Takes responsibility for first-level execution of identified improvements (e.g.procedure review, change control, etc.) Trains and qualifies themselves on all systems and methodologies necessary to perform the role. EHSEnsures compliance on EHS topics in his field of activity and develops the EHS mindset Follows EHS processes and anticipates as much as possible the risks associated with all activities in its area of responsibility Why YouBasic Qualifications University degree. Degree in chemistry, pharmacy, bioengineering, or another scientific field, or equivalent relevant experience. Entry-level profile; no prior job-related experience required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, precision, and organisational skills. Ability to work autonomously with a critical mindset. Ability to prioritise tasks while keeping deadlines on track. Knowledge of root cause analysis and problem-solving tools, including DMAIC. Knowledge of GMP and quality systems, including deviation, CAPA, documentation, and change control. Comfortable using digital systems. Team-oriented mindset. Good written and spoken French. English level sufficient to draft documentation with support and interact with auditors during internal audits. Preferred Qualifications Orange Belt certification or equivalent. Deviation management certification. Previous exposure to production, quality, EHS, validation, maintenance, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and process analysis. Ability to manage stress and maintain a strong commitment to quality. Experience or interest in investigations, deviations, complaints, CAPA management, and process improvement.
