Job Function: Supply Chain Engineering Job Sub Function: Manufacturing Engineering Job Category: Scientific/Technology All Job Posting Locations: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands Job Description: Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities An experienced support individual contributor who executes both routine and nonroutine tasks. A subject matter expert in equipment in projects, programs, processes, and improvements. Collaborates with management and operations to drive decisions regarding equipment lifecycle, asset management, and efficiencies. Applies operational knowledge to implement procedures and plans for equipment. Escalates issues and risks as necessary. Demonstrates effective communication skills with both internal and external customers. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment. Specific tasks and job duties of the position that are required daily: • Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day-to-day interactions with team. • Is required to understand and comply with the Code of Business Conduct, Company policies and laws that govern their activities. • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. • Support the introduction of new equipment and/or systems. • Ensure adequate maintenance of this equipment and/or systems, including addressing (acute) process disruptions. • Leads an Asset Team that is responsible for keeping asset-related data up-todate as part of the annual Asset cycle, identifying and addressing asset issues, and timely signaling the need for asset replacement. • Conduct analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures, downtime and inefficiencies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and implement improvements to minimize equipment downtime and associated losses. • Regularly reviews deliverables and verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable internal and external regulations and procedures. • Ensure adequate documentation for equipment, including Data Integrity, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions and conduct periodic reviews of systems and documentation. • Support developing training programs specific to the equipment. • Support and oversee the installation and operational qualification (IOQ) of equipment and, if necessary, supports the validation of supporting processes such as cleaning. • Subject Matter Expert representative for non-conformances and owner of CAPA’s. • Contribute to change control implementation and non-conformance investigations of equipment . • Apply expertise in equipment to support escalations that cannot be resolved in the first line. • Conduct Gemba walks and review the correct use of equipment by the manufacturing operators and drive sustainable improvements to enhance safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling . • Takes ownership of personal training and ensures that all required training is understood and completed on time. • Enhance a culture of belonging through trusting, divers, & inclusive relationships. Additional tasks and job duties of the position that are not required daily: • Deliver Periodic Review reports, including gathering data from various systems, interpreting and analyzing the data. • Generate a clear and concise need statement. • Maintain software applications focused on the proper utilization of equipment, enhancing productivity and reducing downtime. • Subject Matter Expect on equipment related topics during inspection and audits. • Representative of the Operations unit, following FPX methodology as a core and extended team member. Minimum Qualification • A relevant HBO degree with 3 years relevant experience. • English B2 language level is required. • The levels of computer proficiency are intermediate level for MS office, routine level for data analysis, and specialist level for business applications. • Positive attitude, proactivity, decisive, and organized with an ability to work individually and in a team. • Stress-resistant, continues to work calmly under all circumstances. • High degree of accuracy and quality attitude. • Shows accountability by proactively addressing issues and taking responsibility for outcomes. • Analytical thinking: ability and dealing with complexity, asking questions, using data, using information and identify gaps and root causes of issues and think out of the box to develop a solution. • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery. • Maintains effective alignment with stakeholders and establishes meaningful connections with customers. • Practices giving and receiving transparent and constructive feedback, learn from mistakes, and drive initiatives to achieve organizational and personal development goals. • Coordinates team initiatives by providing clear direction and ensuring effective collaboration within the team.
