How you will make an impact: The MSD APJ FP&A team supports a critical and growing service business within the Materials & Structural Analysis Division, delivering advanced electron microscopy services and solutions to semiconductor, industrial, and life sciences customers. We are seeking a Finance Manager (Individual Contributor) to serve as a key regional finance partner to APJ Service leadership. This role will drive financial planning, performance tracking, regional consolidation, and operational finance processes, providing clear visibility and actionable insights across revenue, bookings, and margin performance. The position will play a critical role in supporting decision-making, enhancing financial discipline, and driving continuous improvement. You will develop a robust skill set as part of this fast-paced function by interacting with a wide range of internal business partners and building organizational capabilities that support profitability & customer satisfaction. What you will do: Financial Planning & Performance ManagementLead the AOP, QBR, STRAP, and MBR processes for APJ MSD Service Finance Own the regional consolidation of revenue, bookings, gross margin, operating expenses, and other key financial metrics across multiple APJ countries, including PLN loading, variance analysis, and regional performance reconciliation Coordinate country-level submissions, review assumptions, challenge inputs, and ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of regional forecasts and reporting. Consolidate country-level risks and opportunities into a comprehensive APJ view, including assessments of financial impact, timing, probability, and required mitigation actions. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting, highlighting key performance drivers, emerging trends, risks, and opportunities. Business Partnering & Decision SupportPartner with APJ Service leadership and country Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Service teams to support business decisions and performance improvement. Provide financial analysis on contract conversion, pricing, margin, productivity, investments, and other business initiatives. Translate complex financial and operational data into concise, actionable recommendations for finance and non-finance stakeholders. Tracking, Reporting & GovernanceManage weekly and monthly tracking, including revenue pacing, contract tracking, and dashboards. Coordinate financial inputs and deliverables across APJ countries, ensuring consistency in assumptions, reporting definitions, timelines, and data quality. Maintain Service MBR reporting and KPI dashboards Build effective relationships with geographically dispersed stakeholders and drive alignment without direct reporting authority. Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing across country and regional teams while balancing regional priorities with local business requirements. Risk & Compliance ManagementMaintain strong financial governance across ledger walks, FX analysis, reconciliations, warranty assessments, true-ups, and other key risk areas. Identify financial and operational risks and work with relevant stakeholders to define and execute mitigation actions. Drive the standardization, automation, and simplification of regional finance processes, dashboards, and reporting tools. How you will get here: Requirements Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field Strong experience in FP&A, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and business partnering, preferably within a service, operations, or commercial environment. Demonstrated experience supporting multiple countries, business units, or operating groups within a multinational and matrixed organization. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Smart View, or similar tools. Strong understanding of revenue, bookings, backlog, gross margin, operating expenses, and service-business performance drivers. Ability to consolidate complex country-level information into a clear regional view and communicate actionable insights. Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across countries, cultures, functions, and levels of seniority. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, influence without authority, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Fluent written and spoken English is required due to the regional scope of the role. Travel requirements • Less than 10% domestic/international travel required
