IntroductionThe Global Mobility Expertise team at ASML helps enable international workforce mobility through clear governance, compliant processes, and strategic guidance. As part of this team, you will contribute to immigration governance initiatives that improve the accessibility, consistency, and transparency of information across a global organization. This internship offers the opportunity to work on policy optimization, knowledge management, and process improvement projects with business impact. You will collaborate with experts and stakeholders while gaining valuable insight into global mobility and immigration compliance. Your assignmentDuring this internship, you will support initiatives that strengthen immigration governance, knowledge management, and collaboration within Global Mobility. You will help create scalable solutions that improve the quality and accessibility of information while contributing to operational excellence. Your work will support informed decision-making and consistent ways of working across the organization. Your key responsibilities will be Support the structuring and optimization of immigration policies and guidance. Improve the accessibility, consistency, and usability of immigration information. Create and maintain high-level knowledge documents on immigration-related topics. Translate complex legal and regulatory information into clear and user-friendly guidance. Map immigration notification and posting requirements across European Union countries, excluding the Netherlands. Develop structured overviews that support consistent internal communication of requirements. Contribute to process improvement initiatives, reporting activities, and transparency enhancements between expert and operational teams. This is a bachelor/master internship (non-thesis) for minimum 5 months, minimum 4 days per week (hybrid). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible. Your profileTo be suitable for the internship, you: Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field. Have strong analytical skills and can structure information in a logical and accessible way. Demonstrate excellent written communication skills in English. Are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Have an interest in immigration, compliance, global mobility, or governance topics. Through this internship, you will gain experience in a global and innovative environment where your work contributes to tangible business improvements. You will build knowledge of immigration compliance, governance frameworks, knowledge management, and process optimization while working alongside experienced professionals. This internship provides an opportunity to develop practical skills, expand your professional network, and contribute to solutions that support ASML's international workforce. Other requirements you need to meet: You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship; If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement); You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular; You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship.
