This position reports to: Local Division Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion Service (MOSE) in Spain. Main stakeholders are Oil and Gas customers, chemical industry, metal industry, water sector or power generation. You will be mainly accountable for: Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. You will join a dynamic, collaborative and highly specialised team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role You are highly skilled with electrical motors and generators and the combined overview of power generation, oil and gas, chemical industry, metal industry or water sector market. You have 2 or more years of experience in maintenance of electrical motors and generator, ideally working as field service engineer, maintenance technician or workshop technician with electrical motors and generators. Highly adept in Office, PowerApps (PowerBI, Power Automate), SAP, electrical testing equipment such as Megger, Fluke or SKF. You are passionate about collaborating with sales and support departments, taking care about customer needs in frontline with the curiosity required to find new ways of improving and courage enough working safe in all environments and scenarios. Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent. You are at ease communicating in both english and spanish.
