Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted business partner across the ABB Robotics value chain in managing security for your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will ensure the effectiveness of security and crisis management capabilities. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring that the security standards, processes, and procedures are in place to address any relevant potential security threats. This role is contributing to the Security function in Asia Middle East Africa (AMEA). . You will be mainly accountable for: Implement ABB Robotics' global security strategy, standards, and programs across the Asia Middle East Africa (AMEA) region. Act as the primary security lead for China, providing on-the-ground ownership of all core security programs and overseeing physical security infrastructure, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, guarding services, and other protective measures across ABB Robotics facilities and operations. Act as the primary security advisor to country and cluster management teams and provide guidance to country Security Points of Contact. Ensure effective governance of the Crisis Management, Physical Security, Travel Security, and Threat Management programs. Lead security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for facilities, operations, projects, and business activities. Support the preparedness and response to security incidents and crisis events throughout the region. Monitor regional threat developments and provide timely security intelligence and risk guidance to business stakeholders. Manage relationships with external security providers, consultants, and relevant authorities. Conduct security awareness and training activities to strengthen organizational resilience. Ensure compliance with ABB Robotics security requirements, applicable laws, and regulatory obligations. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)You are highly skilled in security risk management, crisis management, investigations, travel security, threat management, physical security programs, and stakeholder engagement, and you enjoy working within a dynamic, cross-functional, and multicultural business environment. You have 8+ years of experience in corporate security and crisis management within multinational organizations, with demonstrated success managing security programs across multiple countries, cultures, and business environments. You have established skills working as a Corporate Security Manager / Regional Security Manager, supporting manufacturing, industrial, and technology operations while driving enterprise-wide security and resilience initiatives. You possess enhanced knowledge of security risk assessment methodologies, global crisis response frameworks, investigations management, travel risk programs, physical security systems, CTPAT compliance requirements, and corporate security governance. You are passionate about building strong stakeholder relationships, influencing across diverse organizations, and communicating effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, Law Enforcement, Military Studies, or a related discipline. You are at ease communicating in Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. You are willing and able to travel internationally as required to support global security operations and business objectives. You hold, or are working toward obtaining, professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), CSMP (Certified Security Management Professional), PCI (Professional Certified Investigator), or equivalent, which are considered a strong advantage. You have experience supporting or working within CTPAT-compliant environments, with a solid understanding of supply chain security and regulatory compliance requirements.
