Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech #LI-Onsite Position Summary- This position provides operational and technical support to the Supplier Engineering function to ensure efficient execution of quality, testing, documentation, and change management activities. The role focuses on executing structured engineering support tasks, maintaining system and documentation integrity, and coordinating operational activities such as testing, logistics, and non-conformance handling. By taking ownership of routine and process-driven tasks, this role enables Supplier Engineers to focus on core technical and strategic responsibilities while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines. Responsibilities: Supports Supplier Engineering through execution and coordination of operational and technical activities related to quality, testing, documentation, and change management Maintains and updates quality and engineering systems (e.g., Non-Conformances, Quality Inspection Plans, Change Requests), ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance Supports non-conformance and quality processes, including documentation preparation, investigation support, and facilitation of Material Review Board activities Coordinates and executes testing and qualification support activities, including sample handling, measurement, data collection, test documentation, and test build organization Organizes and tracks engineering-related logistics such as samples, assemblies, and shipments to ensure availability for testing and qualification activities Prepares, updates, and maintains technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and engineering records Supports change control processes by preparing documentation, performing system entries, and tracking progress to ensure timely execution Executes defined work packages and routine technical tasks with a high degree of accuracy and independence within established procedures Identifies opportunities for process improvements and contributes to standardization and efficiency initiatives within Supplier Engineering Collaborates cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures Performs other duties assigned as needed Qualifications: Technical degree, technician qualification, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality 1–5 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or quality environment Familiarity with engineering support, quality processes, or production environments is advantageous Basic understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes Knowledge of quality system processes such as Non-Conformance (NC), CAPA, or inspection processes Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain structured documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions Ability to work independently on defined tasks and take ownership of assigned activities Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement Preferred: Experience working with electronic systems (e.g., ETQ, SAP, eMP, Lynx or similar) preferred Experience in medical device or regulated industry is preferred Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $65,000 - $ 104,650 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
